At the EMI party held at Paramount Studios, Bonnie Raitt described Kelly Clarkson's Grammy shout out to her as "great and so unexpected." "I know there's a bunch of people who do my songs on American Idol. I've never seen them, but people tell me," Raitt said. "And Kelly Clarkson -- that song in particular just moved me so much. I think she's such a great singer. And she likes my music!," Raitt said. Idol runner-up Bo Bice also made a stop at the soiree. Of his string of recent injuries, Bice said: "I'm doing a lot better now. The only thing that would keep me from touring is a pine box and we'll even find a way around that one."
